Sodalite Egg 20g

A beautiful egg made of Sodalite. The name 'Sodalite' originates from its chemical composition.  It is rarely seen in crystal form, and can sometimes be found intertwined with white calcite. It was discovered in 1811 in Greenland.

Mineral Composition: Tectosilicate Mineral. Sodium aluminium silicate with chlorine. Belongs to the Feldspathoid group of minerals.

Hardness: 5.5-6 on the Mohs Scale
