Pyrite Bat Carvings
$15.00
These adorable little bat carvings are carved out of lovely, sparkling Pyrite. Pyrite, sometimes referred to as 'fools gold', was named after the Greek word 'pyro' meaning 'fire'. This name was chosen because of the sparks created by striking two pieces together. It formed from sedimentary or metamorphic rocks that were rich in organic material such as sulfur and carbon dioxide.
